The Indoor Mini Soccer program is available to all children from 4 to 8 years old living in the Waverley Heights Community Center (WHCC) catchment area. The program runs two separate "seasons": October to December, then January to March and consists of a one-hour session once per week. We focus on physical activity, basic soccer skills, and above all, having fun!

Age Groups

Age Groups are defined by birth year, rather than the child’s actual age. For example, all children born in 2004 are in the “6 year olds” group even though some may not have actually had their sixth birthday.

Depending on participation we may combine age groups.

If your child is not born in one of the years indicated they are not eligible for the Mini Soccer program. Older children can register in our Indoor Soccer program. Unfortunately WHCC does not provide soccer programming for children under 4 years of age.

Games

Games are typically held on Sunday afternoons in the Waverley Heights Community Centre. Specific times for each age group will be determined based on participation.

At least one parent or guardian must accompany and remain with their child until the completion of the game.
